Virtual Reptile Camps Include
Daily live interactive Zoom presentation
Campers will meet up to a dozen reptiles daily, and ask questions. 2 sessions daily to choose from (Morning OR Afternoon.) These will be recorded for attendees that can’t view live.
- Live virtual camper only group zoom chats to socialize with others
- Additional curated youtube mini-documentaries based on each day’s theme
- Your choice of a $20 large plushy from our toy store*
- A toy animal to create a habitat at home*
- Wooden Paintable Snake – our most popular craft*
- Daily digital colouring and activity sheets
- Instructions on additional crafts and activities you can do at home including outdoor based activities.
- A daily email outlining what we learned about so you can engage with your child and ask questions. One of the most popular features of our camp every year, allowing you to ask questions and share in your child’s learning.
- A 1 on 1 zoom chat with Jason at the end of the week to show what your camper has created, share their own pet reptiles (if applicable) and talk about what they learned from the week.
- A list of books available on ebooks and in print to look for to read.

Virtual Camps are $100 for a week plus shipping of items, or $25 for single days.
Camp Programs
July 13 th – 17 th – Camp Goes Old School
2011 started Reptile Camp with a simple theme, which we return to for our first week of our 10 th summer! Lizard Day, Amphibian and Arachnid Day, Turtle & Tortoise Day & Snake Day will be our themes.
July 20 th – 25 th – Reptile World Tour
Reptiles and Amphibians have successfully adapted to live in most of the world. Campers will go on a journey around the globe meeting animals from Australia/Asia, Africa, South America and North America – including our own backyard!
August 10 th – 14 th – Conservation Conversation
We know about endangered species like pandas and gorillas. Our cold-blooded friends don’t get the same exposure and support. This week introducers campers to the importance of amphibians, reptiles and invertebrates to the ecosystem. We will meet and learn about native species like the boreal toad, invasive species like iguanas and pythons, endangered species like Banded Iguanas, and much more!
August 17 th – 21 st – Reptiles from Sea to Tree
Reptiles and amphibians have made their home in every type of environment. From aquatic turtles to burrowing snakes to lizards living high in the canopy, this week we meet animals that live from Sea to Tree!
July 8 – 12, 2020 – From Minis to Giants
Reptiles run the gamut in sizes, from the small Kenyan Sand Boa to giant pythons and crocodiles. Learn about some of the wee and not so wee cold blooded creatures.
July 27 – 21, 2020 – Reptile Restaurant AM/PM
Reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates have a variety of diets. This is important both for pets and how they help us control pests in the wild. Meet the insectivores, herbivores, omnivores and carnivores of Reptile Camp!
August 24 – 28, 2020. – Greatest Hits AM/PM
